How Procuri Protects Your Business
| Secure Data |
| The strongest available encryption protects all Procuri customer data transmitted over the Web. An SSL certificate signed by Starfield Technologies, Inc., as well as the lock icon in the corner of the user's browser, assures customers that their data is fully shielded from access while in transit over the Web. Procuri employs the strongest encryption currently supported by browsers, using a 1024-bit RSA public key and letting users access their data with a 128-bit encryption from their browsers. |
| Network Security |
Procuri’s Internet connections operate at the highest possible level of security. Our servers are updated exclusively using a SSH (Secure Shell) connection. The FTP connection port is disabled--as a security measure--and all files are uploaded to servers via SCP (secure copy), the most secure process for uploading files.
Procuri participates in and passes all independent and client security audits. Every year, Procuri data centers perform an intense SAS 70 Level II audit and a yearly audit of source code to check for and against security vulnerabilities.

| Application Security |
A valid username and password is required to log into Procuri’s solutions. Password length and change intervals are determined by client company policy. Procuri requires that passwords are at least eight characters long and have both alpha and numeric characters.
In addition to the password controls, there is an auto log off feature, set by your System Supervisor. This feature will automatically log off users when there is a period of inactivity for a specified duration of time. In the event of a lost or stolen password, only users on your private network can have access to the application
For enhanced application security, Procuri’s solutions use a random generator for session ID. This method of application security ensures that page requests received by the server are from user computers, which have been validated for that particular session. This provides Procuri with a very high level of application security. Procuri also uses a multi-layer architecture to isolate and protect customer data within the database. Access to data is through remoting boundaries using a proprietary remoting protocol. |

| World-Class Hosting Services |
Procuri servers are hosted at the AT&T Internet Data Center (IDC) in both central Florida and Atlanta, and at the Verizon Data Center in Atlanta. These facilities provide 24x7x365 security, employ biometric security and provide the most robust facilities for Web hosting available anywhere in the world.
Internet connectivity is dual homed with shadow circuits for reliable continuous access. Each Data Center’s IP Backbone supports a wide array of managed Internet services providing reliable, high-speed Internet connections with industry-leading Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Each Internet Data Center’s internal network is monitored and maintained around the clock by both automation and highly skilled personnel at their respective Network Operations Centers (NOCs). |
| Physical Security |
The Data Centers have smoke and fire detection by a state-of-the-art VESDA system and the buildings are hurricane 4-rated. All areas in the Data Centers are accessed by a card key system with biometric and thermal palm scans. There are diesel generators for providing standby power, on-site fuel storage capacity and fuel suppliers on-call. Power is supplied to the UPS systems through commercial power feeders and standby generators.
“N+1” redundancy exists throughout all phases, including the UPS system modules. Overall, the final configurations represent a 2N redundancy in the UPS system. |

| Optimal Performance |
Procuri’s technical experts continuously monitor response time, performance and security. Procuri’s N-tiered network infrastructure is highly scalable to meet both planned expansions and unexpected usage demands.
Every component in the Procuri server farm is designed to ensure there is no single point of failure. Web servers, database servers, document servers and other devices are all configured so that the interruption of any component results in automatic fail-over to a backup component. Multiple web servers automatically distribute load so that Procuri’s solutions not only stay online, but also ensure maximum performance. Procuri provides redundant Internet connections to each Data Center’s managed Internet backbone. |
| Maximum Availability |
Procuri servers provide data redundancy via Raid5 disc arrays. Raid5 supplies safe recovery of data in the event of hard disk failure. Any server's hard drive can fail without loss of data. Raid5 also provides for hot swappable hard disks, in order to replace a failing hard disk without service interruption.
Additionally, Procuri provides redundant and path-diverse entrances and exits. Dual access routers connect the Internet Data Center to the provider’s IP Network via dual OC-48 connections to multiple network access points. |
| Disaster Recovery in Real Time |
Each data center acts as a recovery for the other. The servers at these two sites are inter-connected by a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The Atlanta site is a hot backup site-database and document information is updated on the primary servers and replicated on Procuri servers located at the secondary site in real-time. In the event of an interruption of the primary facility, Procuri can immediately redirect traffic to the secondary site. This hot backup site is mirrored and is no more than 5-7 minutes behind production during the highest volume point.
Procuri provides a full encrypted tape backup every night on all data and logs. Week-end and month-end backup tapes are routed offsite for storage via a bonded courier. |
| Backup and Storage |
| The primary servers at the data center create nightly backups of all user data. The nightly backup tapes are stored at a secure off-site storage location. Procuri not only has full-time, real-time disaster recovery to stand-in for our primary site, but can also recover data from off-site tape storage in the unlikely event this is ever needed. |
